What is your favorite fast-food eatery?

I ORDERED PLAIN!!!

There is a certain risk I take when I go through the drive-thru of a fast-food place. Wherever I go, I always order my sandwiches plain. I can't stand the taste of mustard, ketchup, pickles, etc, on my sandwich. I always make sure to enunciate clearly so as not to mix up my order. "I'd like 2 McDoubles, plain with cheese only." The little "with cheese only" at the end of the order ensures that my burgers will come out plain. Oh, how naive I am. The majority of the time they come out exactly as I dictated. But, inevitably, I will be sitting at my kitchen table, unwrapping my burgers only to smell the scent of mustard wafting through the air. I tell you, no other experience is more infuriating than discovering that your delicious meal has been smothered in red and yellow mucus.

How do you decide which fast-food place to eat at?
Let's say, for instance, that you are driving home from the movie theater. After 2 and a half hours of nothing but sitting and watching, you finally acknowledge the growling in your stomach. You decide to stop somewhere to eat. But what do you think of first? Perhaps you think about which eateries are the closest to your current location. Maybe you just figure out what your in the "mood" for, regardless of the location. Maybe you are price sensitive (since you just spent $1000 bucks at the ridiculously overpriced theater) and therefore opt for the cheapest meal. This is perhaps the one that always gets me. I am a frugal person by nature, I always have been. This is the main reason I chose Mickey D's as my favorite fast-food: because no one comes close to their value meal. However, quite recently, Burger King has attempted to trump MD's by adding a $1 dbll cheese burger to their menu. And, I have to say, BK's double is a lot tastier than McDonald's. The price is even tastier. But, I have a feeling that this may just be a temporary ploy to get customers. Like a candle in the wind(alusion), this deal could be, and probably will be, gone before we can say "I'm lovin' it".

I had just finished 4 sliders from the notorious White Caster fast-food chain, when I retreated to the living room to recuperate. However, I was soon informed that there were a few Sliders stranded in one of the grease-soaked paper bags. And so I promptly put the suffocating burgers out of their misery by thrusting them into the cavern of my food muncher. When eating, it is easy, for me at least, to overlook the consequences of the items which you put in your mouth. However, it was not long before I realized the consequences of my eating 7 sliders and fries; the undulation of my intestines informed me quite clearly that the burgers went in a lot easier than they would be going out. This was nearly a week ago and I am still feeling the effects of the fateful feast. And you know what the sad thing is? It's that I would do it all over again in a drop of a hat. If you have had similar encounters, feel free to make a comment. If you are too shy to divulge such information, just think of something clever to say. If you are disgusted with me, I apologize; but still don't be afraid to comment. Until next time---- Jimmy
